Founder Theodore Arthurs
I created The Stronghold because I believe no man should have to face his struggles alone. I was born in Jamaica and come from a Jamaican and Irish background. When I moved to the United States at 15, I had to learn early what it meant to adapt, stay strong, and carry a lot quietly. Those experiences shaped who I am and how I see mental health especially for men. I’ve seen firsthand how cultural expectations, pressure, and silence can weigh heavily, and how often men are taught to push through instead of reaching out. Helping people has always been at the core of who I am. The Stronghold was built to be a place where strength and honesty can exist at the same time a space for real conversations, shared experiences, and practical tools that actually help. If this platform helps even one person feel understood, supported, or less alone, then it’s doing exactly what it was meant to do.
